Mark Stevens is a professional educator who has worked in education and technology. As an Executive at the National Education Association, served as Chief Business Development Officer, General Manager for NEA Academy (e learning) and Senior Manager for CRM and membership database management.
Prior to joining the NEA, Mark was the Executive Director and General Manager of AOL@SCHOOL and KOL Education at AOL Time Warner. He has held senior leadership and management positions at Macmillan McGraw-Hill School Publishing, Jostens Learning, Inc., and Turner Learning (Turner Broadcasting Systems). He holds an undergraduate degree in Education and Psychology from The Evergreen State College and an M.Ed. from Pacific Lutheran University. He has served on the Editorial Board for T.H.E Journal, Board of Directors for the Fairfax Education Foundation and the U.S. Department of State, Office of Overseas Schools, Software Industry Information Association (SIIA), Association of Education Publishers (AEP), and Board of Directors for the Florida Education Technology Conference (FETC). He has received awards for print, online and broadcast productions including Webby, Telly, AEP Golden Lamp, SIIA CODIE, and AMA Spectrum award.
