Michelle Ward-Gilles, Ed.M.

Director of Marketing

Michelle directs MarCom for CS4Ed, where she provides marketing and communications support to clients. She plans social media campaigns and creates assorted marketing materials, including case studies, research reports, and blogs. She has worked in education for more than 10 years and has experience providing social media, communications, and marketing support for schools, nonprofits and education companies. Michelle is also the Division Director of Community Education & Outreach at NAMI Massachusetts. In her role, she manages a team of staff members and volunteers, writes curriculum, trains people to share their mental health stories, engages in community outreach, develops educational materials, and delivers presentations about mental health in a variety of settings.

Michelle is an educator, curriculum writer, trainer, storyteller, and communicator, with extensive experience in teaching, program management, volunteer training, and marketing and communications. Michelle has a background as an elementary school teacher and curriculum writer and holds a Master of Education degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education along with bachelor’s degrees in Journalism and Political Science from the University of Missouri. She was a 2012 Teach for America corps member in Dallas-Fort Worth and was later a Policy and Advocacy Summer Fellow in 2018 with Leadership for Educational Equity. Additionally, Michelle is a Teaching Fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
